STUDIO POLICY

Our studio policy is designed to make your piano learning experience positive and effective!

Tuition & Payment

  • Monthly lesson fees must be received before the first lesson of each month.
  • Tuition is due at the first lesson of each month.

Attendance & Missed Lessons

  • If a lesson must be missed for any reason, the student or legal guardian must notify the teacher at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Punctuality is important! If a student is late or does not attend their lesson, tuition is non-refundable, and the studio is not obligated to provide a make-up lesson.
  • Forgetting to bring the music book is considered an absence. No lesson will be given without the necessary materials, and no make-up lesson will be provided.

Studio Etiquette

  • No food, drinks, or pets are allowed in the studio.
  • Students should always be prepared and ready to perform at least two pieces in public.

By following these guidelines, we can ensure a productive and enjoyable learning environment for everyone. Looking forward to making music together! 🎶

Guardiant's responsibilities

Let’s continue working together to support students in their piano practice at home! 🎶

1. Practice Consistency – Encourage your child not to skip practice the day after their piano lesson. Practicing immediately after the lesson helps reinforce learning while the memory is still fresh.

2. Be a Supportive Audience – If the student is a young beginner, sit next to them during practice. Your presence and encouragement can motivate them to stay engaged and make progress.

3, Maintain Proper Hand Position – Keep fingernails clipped very short to ensure correct hand positioning and for safety reasons.

4. Encourage Performance Readiness – When the music book is marked “Perform by Memory,” create a small at-home concert.

  • Gather an audience of one or more people to sit quietly and enjoy the performance.
  • Be supportive and cheerful to boost the student’s confidence.
  • Casually invite neighbors, friends, or family to these at-home concerts—it will help students build stage presence and prepare for formal performances.

By working together, we can create a fun, encouraging, and successful piano learning experience! 🎹✨
